USF lends epilepsy expertise to build programs in Dominican Republic
The trip was part of the travel award the USF/Tampa General Hospital Comprehensive Epilepsy Program earned last year from the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) to partner with and develop comprehensive epilepsy programs in Latin American. The USF/TGH program was one of four centers selected nationally for the ILAE award.

Epilepsy: Global Issues for the Practicing Neurologist
With kind permission of the World Federation of Neurology we are please to make available to you a publication from the WFN's Seminars in Clinical Neurology series "Epilepsy: Global Issues for the Practicing Neurologist." This publication was chaired by Jerome Engel of the University of California at Los Angeles with a panel of international experts. The focus is on issues that are more commonly faced in the developing world, but this book also has broader application.
