Lifetime Achievement Award is given only on special occasions
to honor truly exceptional
persons who have dedicated their entire lives to people with
epilepsy, and who have made continuing, outstanding
contributions to the field.

and IBE Announce Awards at The 23rd International Epilepsy
Congress
In a moving opening ceremony, ILAE President Giuliano Avanzini and IBE President Philip Lee presented a number of awards on behalf of the League and the Bureau.
Young Investigator
Awards are made possible through an unrestricted
educational grant from Glaxo Wellcome and reflect meritorious
research as judged by the Scientific Advisory Committee from
