The International League Against Epilepsy
maintains an archive of historical information about the pursuits
and achievements of their members and chapters.
The archive provides a comprehensive collection to help preserve
and maintain information that has shaped the League and its goals.
- Report of the First Chapter Convention organized by
ILAE
For the first time, the International League Against Epilepsy
invited all Chapters to participate in a Chapter Convention held
on October 5th in Madrid, Spain during the 5th European Congress
on Epileptology. More than 30 Chapters were represented at this
meeting.
- The Global Campaign Against Epilepsy
The Global Campaign against Epilepsy is a joint initiative of
the World Health Organization (WHO), the International League
Against Epilepsy, and the International Bureau for Epilepsy (IBE)
to bring epilepsy "Out of the Shadows" by improving
the diagnosis, treatment, prevention and social acceptability
of the disorder world-wide. The Campaign was formally launched
in Geneva on 19 June 1997 and in Dublin, Ireland on 3 July 1997
during the 22nd World Congress on Epilepsy.
- Awards
History of awards presented to the epilepsy community on behalf
of the International League Against Epilepsy.
- Epilepsia
ILAE and Blackwell Synergy have an archive of issues of Epilepsia
dating back to 2001. The journals archive of epilepsy and other
seizure-related articles are searchable and printable.
