Dr. Moshé is Professor of Neurology, Neuroscience and Pediatrics, Vice-Chair, Department of Neurology, Director, Pediatric Neurology and Director of Clinical Neurophysiology, Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He received his medical degree from the National University of Athens School of Medicine, Athens, Greece. He has been the recipient of numerous honors and awards and served in many International committees aimed at improving the care of patients through translational research. Dr. Moshé’s research has focused on understanding the mechanisms underlying epilepsy and its consequences in children with a special emphasis on sex-related influences .  He has organized several International Conferences on ‘Brain Development and Epilepsy’ and educational courses directed towards young researchers from countries without well-established epilepsy research and clinical delivery systems..

As a physician involved in clinical practice, basic and clinical research and teaching, Professor Moshé plans to promote pioneering cost-effective translational research to provide better services for patients with epilepsy.
